Longform YouTube Video Editor & Thumbnail Designer

We are seeking a talented Virtual Assistant who specializes in longform YouTube video editing and thumbnail design. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of storytelling, professional editing techniques, and eye-catching graphic design to help maximize video engagement and viewer retention.

Responsibilities:

Edit longform YouTube videos (10–20 minutes) with a highly professional and engaging style.
Ensure videos are well-paced, visually dynamic, and maintain high production value.
Incorporate creative transitions, effects, text overlays, and motion graphics as needed.
Collaborate on content ideas and understand the video’s target audience.
Design compelling and visually striking YouTube thumbnails optimized for clicks.
Stay up-to-date with YouTube trends and best practices for video editing and thumbnail creation.
Communicate efficiently and meet agreed-upon deadlines.
Qualifications:

Proven experience editing longform YouTube videos with a portfolio showcasing professional work.
Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
Skills in thumbnail design using tools like Photoshop, Canva, or equivalent.
Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
Ability to take direction while also offering creative input.
Familiarity with YouTube algorithms and optimization strategies is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Work Environment:

This is a remote, part-time position with the potential for growth based on performance.
Flexible working hours but must meet deadlines.
