Job Mission:

At Tech Guru, the mission of an IT Systems Engineer is to ensure robust, efficient, and secure IT infrastructure solutions for our diverse clientele. Leveraging over five years of experience, the Systems Engineer will be integral in designing, implementing, and supporting networking and server infrastructure. They will utilize their expertise, including CompTIA and MCSA certifications, to manage complex projects such as email tenant migrations to Microsoft 365 and building cloud-hosted server environments.

Key Role Objectives:

Design, Implement, and Support Infrastructure:

· Ensure robust and secure networking and server infrastructure for diverse clients, leveraging expertise to deliver high-quality solutions.

· Robust experience with Microsoft Server Operating systems and configurations (Physical & Cloud), SQL Server, Hyper-V, RAID arrays & controls, Dell server management controllers (IDRAC), Unifi networking, VPNs, Sentinel One Endpoint Management

Microsoft 365:

· Complete seamless email tenant migrations to Microsoft 365, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption for clients.

Cloud-Hosted Server Environments:

· Build and maintain cloud-hosted server environments, ensuring they operate smoothly and meet client needs.

Unifi Technical Skills:

We are seeking a highly skilled UniFi Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with UniFi products, including access points, switches, routers, and controllers. You will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining UniFi networks to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.

Server and Networking Preparation:

· Meticulously prepare and configure servers and networking equipment for unique client environments.

Certifications and Knowledge Maintenance:

· Maintain current CompTIA and MCSA certifications and pursue ongoing professional development.

Client Communication and Support:

· Provide exceptional support by resolving issues and communicating effectively with clients of varying technical proficiencies.

Server Outage Resolution:

· Swiftly and independently address and resolve server outages to ensure clients’ systems operate at peak performance.

· You can design, set up, and support a variety of administrative control panels, tailoring them to meet specific client needs.

· You are highly detail-oriented, meticulously preparing servers and networking equipment to cater to diverse environments.
