Link Builder / Outreach Specialist (Remote)

We're a growing B2B digital PR and SEO agency, and we're looking for a skilled Link Builder / Outreach Specialist to join our remote team on a long-term, project-based basis.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

- Conduct email outreach to promote client content and secure backlinks from authoritative websites
- Use Ahrefs to perform backlink analysis, identify link-building opportunities, and drive SEO results
- Identify and evaluate link-building prospects — filtering out spam sites and prioritizing quality placements
- Build and maintain relationships with website owners and influencers for ongoing collaborations
- Negotiate link prices to maximize ROI while protecting client budgets
- Create and edit written content (articles, guest posts, outreach copy) to support link acquisition campaigns
- Track and report link-building progress on a monthly basis
- Adapt strategies across different industries and client projects

REQUIREMENTS:

- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Proven experience identifying spam/low-quality sites
- Top-notch attention to detail and proactive approach to task ownership
- Comfortable asking for help and seeking guidance when needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- At least 1 year of hands-on link building experience at an agency, in difficult niches, or with backlink rate/anchor text negotiation
- Proficient in Ahrefs for backlink analysis and SEO strategy
- Experienced in negotiating competitive link prices
- Ability to write or edit short-form content (blog posts, guest articles, pitch copy) is a strong plus
- Basic understanding of SEO and how search engines work
- Familiarity with internet marketing principles
- Experience in customer-facing communication or support
- Tech-savvy and eager to learn new tools
