We’re a marketing agency based in Australia specializing in marketing and sales systems for other marketing agency owners and we're currently looking for a skilled Video Editor to join our dynamic content team for a full-time role.
Job Description:
As a Video Editor, you will play a key role in our content marketing engine by transforming long-form interview recordings into engaging short-form video clips for social media. You will report directly to the Success Manager and collaborate with our content team to deliver high-quality, attention-grabbing videos that enhance brand authority for our clients.
Job Success KPIs:
- Identification and editing of 14-20 valuable clips per interview session (30-60 seconds each)
- Timely delivery of polished video clips in required formats (1:1 and 9:16)
- Consistently clear, accurate captioning
- Efficient use of Riverside.fm and editing tools to maintain project timelines
- Systems & Communication
Editing Tools: Riverside.fm preferred
Project Management: ClickUp
Internal Communication: Slack
Main Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review 60-minute interview recordings and independently identify key segments for social media clips (timestamps will not be provided)
- Edit video segments into short-form clips, optimized for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts
- Create both square (1:1) and vertical (9:16) versions for each clip
- Add captions to all videos for accessibility and engagement
- Collaborate with our content and creative teams to align on brand voice and messaging
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficiency in video editing and experience with Riverside.fm (preferred)
- Strong understanding of social media trends and content optimization
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Availability during AWST or AEST hours
- Ability to independently identify content-worthy clips from long-form videos
Special Requests/Preferences for Candidates
1. Previous experience editing social media content for businesses or agencies
2. Familiarity with short-form content and social media platforms
3. Demonstrated skill in managing multiple formats and maintaining a high level of attention to detail
