About Us:
GH Building Designers is an architectural and engineering design firm based in Ontario, Canada. We specialize in residential and commercial projects, offering high-quality and innovative solutions. We're seeking a skilled AutoCAD Virtual Assistant to join our team part ---------- Gig basis and support our growing portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Architectural Drafting and Design:

- Create detailed architectural plans from hand-drawn sketches using AutoCAD.

- Ensure designs meet Ontario's residential and commercial building codes.

- Collaborate with the project team to deliver accurate and timely design packages.

Bid Preparation and Administrative Tasks:

- Review Ontario municipal and provincial contract boards for potential bidding opportunities in building and transportation sectors.
- Assemble bid packages with input from the project team.
- Manage general administrative tasks to support project operations.


Client Acquisition:

- Research and connect with potential residential clients in Ontario.

- Assist in maintaining client relationships and supporting client onboarding.


Bonus (if applicable):

- Highway design experience is an asset but not required.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in architectural drafting and design, with a strong portfolio of residential and/or commercial projects.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.

- Knowledge of Ontario building codes and design standards is preferred.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

- Experience in bid preparation and/or understanding of municipal and provincial contracts in Ontario is a plus.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
