We are a small, close knit team running a kitchen and bath remodeling company in Vancouver, Canada. We are looking to grow and at this point we would love to add our first VA to the team to be the heart of our operation. Our management team has been working together for years and we are like a second family so we want someone who can join our team and add to the great dynamic we have.
Our company is very heavily focused on giving our clients a great experience but it's hard to be on top of every detail and piece of communication with such a small team. So we want our VA to be the person at the center of the organization that helps connect us all, help with clients, and keep us running strong.
Because it is a new role, there will be some refining of the job requirements as we get comfortable with our VA and what they do best but here are some of the tasks we know will be required:
-Answer the phones to handle inbound leads and book appointments for our sales rep
-Order materials from our suppliers for our renovations
-Post content on our social media accounts on a regular basis
-Assist the company owner with implementing new business systems
-Help coordinate with other professionals such as video editors to complete marketing video content
-Assist with accounts receivable to follow up with clients and ensure prompt payment
-Work with our CRM system to setup some simple automations
-General virtual assistant tasks as they come up
Requirements:
-Must speak very good english, ideally with a minimal accent
-Must work during our local business hours of 9am-5pm Pacific Standard Time
-Have stable internet (calls will come in over a VOIP phone line)
-Has the ability to offer their own ideas to solve problems within the company and take initiative occasionally without being asked.
We will be very patient with our VA as we learn to work together and want someone who is not afraid to ask for help, admit when they are having a problem, or ask for more direction. We want someone who will become a long term and valued member of our team and we are happy to invest time in training for the right person. What we don't want is someone who gets stuck or frustrated and then vanishes on us. We want someone reliable.
Wage will be negotiated based on skillset and experience.
We are happy to pay weekly in the first couple of months to establish trust, and then pay every two weeks from then on.
