Accounting Support Specialist

About Us:
We are a growing company in the renewable energy sector seeking an experienced Accounting Support Specialist to join our team. This role will support our senior accounting team with daily tasks, reporting, and various accounting functions.

Job Responsibilities:
Process daily transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
Manage data entry for bills, expenses, and other financial records
Prepare financial reports, summaries, and documentation for compliance purposes
Support tax and regulatory document preparation and filing
Perform general ledger entries, expense tracking, and account reconciliations
Assist with vendor and client communications related to payments and invoicing
Provide timely support to managers, responding to financial information requests
Contribute to special projects, including ad hoc financial analysis and audit preparation

Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in construction or related industries
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks experience preferred)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)

Expertise in full-cycle accounting, payroll management, VAT compliance, and financial reporting
Known for optimizing processes and delivering accurate and timely financial solutions
