TOAST Point of Sale Specialist for Bar/Restaurant Operations

We are seeking an experienced Toast POS Specialist to assist with technical support, menu management, and system customization for our bar/restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in managing and troubleshooting the Toast platform and have experience in optimizing POS systems for efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Toast POS system, ensuring minimal downtime.
Menu Setup and Updates: Create and update menus, including adding new items, modifying existing ones, and adjusting prices as needed.
Customization: Configure buttons, layouts, and workflows to improve staff efficiency and guest experience.
System Monitoring: Regularly review POS reports and settings to ensure system accuracy and functionality.
Employee Management: Add or update employee profiles, manage permissions, and troubleshoot login or timeclock issues.
Integration Support: Assist with integrating third-party apps or services with Toast, such as delivery platforms or accounting software.
Training: Provide guidance or training to staff on Toast system features and best practices.
Data Analysis: Generate reports on sales, inventory, and employee performance to support business decisions.
Requirements:

Proven experience with Toast POS (mandatory).
Strong technical troubleshooting skills with a solid understanding of POS systems.
Experience in bar/restaurant operations is highly preferred.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Reliable internet connection and remote work setup.
Work Hours:

Flexible schedule, but availability for occasional urgent support during bar/restaurant operating hours (e.g., evenings and weekends) is required.
