Financial Data Analyst

Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly analytical Financial Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a key role in leveraging data and financial information to drive insights and business decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL and Excel skills, along with a solid understanding of finance and accounting principles. Experience with tools such as NetSuite, Tableau, and Snowflake is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform data analysis, reporting, and visualization to support finance and business teams.
Use SQL to query large datasets, ensuring accurate and efficient data retrieval.
Leverage Excel for advanced data manipulation, financial modeling, and reporting.
Prepare and present financial reports, identifying trends and key insights for stakeholders.
Provide support for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles.
Assist in improving data processes and optimizing reporting efficiency.
Collaborate with other teams to understand data needs and deliver tailored reports.
Assist in troubleshooting data-related issues and ensuring data integrity across platforms.

Mandatory Qualifications:
Intermediate to expert proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting.
Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, advanced functions).
Basic understanding of finance and accounting principles (e.g., general ledger, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting).

Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to NetSuite, including integration and report generation.
Experience using Tableau for creating dashboards and data visualizations.
Familiarity with Snowflake data warehouse and its functionalities.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in financial analysis, data analysis, or a similar role involving financial data.
