JOB OVERVIEW

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented NetSuite Accounting Assistant VA to support our Company in managing its financial records, transactions, and administrative tasks. As an Accounting Assistant VA, you will work remotely, providing essential support in maintaining accurate financial data, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and assisting in various administrative functions.

This position reports directly to our AR/AP Team.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping:
-Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, on a regular basis.
-Post and record daily transactions accurately and promptly from bank accounts to NetSuite using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks and NetSuite).
-Reconcile monthly bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

Communication and Collaboration:
-Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information exchange.
-Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and tea ---------- mbers regarding financial matters including past due payment collections.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:
-Manage vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
-Generate and send invoices to customers, monitor receivables, and follow up on overdue payments.
-Resolve any billing or payment discrepancies with customers or suppliers.

Tax Compliance:
-Assist in preparing and filing monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns accurately and in a timely manner.

Reporting:
-Assist in developing and monitoring the company's NetSuite Reports.
-Assist in preparing financial reports and statements for management review.
-Analyze financial data to identify trends, potential cost savings, and areas for improvement.
-Create accurate commission reports in NetSuite for the Sales team.

Administrative Support:
-Provide general administrative assistance such as managing emails and organizing documents.
-Assist in procurement and inventory management when necessary.


Qualifications:

-Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Office Suite required - preferably with knowledge on reporting
-Experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
-Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accountant, or related role.
-Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
-Strong organizational and time-management skills.
-Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote/virtual setting.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Fluency in English - both verbal and written communication.
-High degree of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.


Schedule: Part-Time, Monday-Friday 7am PT - 11am PT (Available to transition to Full-Time in the future depending on performance and company needs)

Reports To: AR/AP Team

Pay: $6 USD /hr (20 hrs /week)
