Accountant

We are a U.S.-based company seeking a dynamic and resourceful Licensed Accountant (CPA preferred) to join our team. This is a full-time, remote position that requires working during graveyard shifts to align with U.S. business hours. The selected candidate must dedicate their full professional capacity to this role and must not have other active clients or commitments.

Key Responsibilities:
Daily Bookkeeping and Account Management: Record and categorize transactions, maintain accurate ledgers, and reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts.
Advanced Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key insights and trends to inform business decisions.
Line-of-Business Expertise: Learn the company’s operations, services, and revenue model to provide tailored accounting and financial solutions.
Problem-Solving and Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in financial workflows and propose innovative solutions to enhance accuracy and productivity.
Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure strict compliance with U.S. accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing budgets, forecasting cash flows, and monitoring financial performance.
Audit and Tax Preparation: Support audits and tax filings by maintaining comprehensive and organized records.

Qualifications:
Licensed Accountant (CPA strongly preferred).
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools).
Proven ability to adapt to new industries and learn the specifics of a company’s business model.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a creative, out-of-the-box approach to accounting and financial management.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and tax regulations is a plus.
Must not have other active clients or professional commitments.
