Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated News Writer to join our team on a part-time basis. As a News Writer, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and editing news stories using WordPress and AI tools like ChatGPT. This role requires a blend of creative thinking, research skills, and technical proficiency to produce high-quality, engaging articles efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Research, write, and edit up to 5-10 news articles per day using AI tools like ChatGPT to assist with content creation.
- Cover various topics, including local, business, lifestyle, and education.
- Ensure all articles are accurate, fact-checked, and meet deadlines.
- Edit and proofread your work for grammar, punctuation, and adherence to BuzzKue’s style guidelines.
- Collaborate with the editorial team to generate content ideas and maintain an up-to-date content calendar.
- Monitor trending topics and propose relevant story ideas.

Qualifications
- Strong written English with excellent grammar and storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT for writing and content creation is required.
- Willing to learn WordPress editor (Knowledge of WordPress Is a plus).
- Passion for news and current events, with a knack for identifying trending topics.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Basic research and fact-checking skills.
- Familiarity with SEO principles is a plus (Rankmath knowledge is a plus).
- Previous experience in writing or journalism is preferred but not required.
