Job Description: SEO Specialist

Position Overview:

At SOHO Realty & Mortgage Lending, we are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic SEO Specialist to optimize our online presence and drive organic growth. This role will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager (DMM) and Social Media Manager (SMM) to ensure SEO strategies are integrated with digital campaigns, social media efforts, and content creation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of on-page and off-page SEO, technical SEO, and keyword research.

Key Responsibilities:

SEO Strategy Development:

Create and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with the company’s digital marketing and social media objectives.
Collaborate with the DMM to align SEO strategies with paid search and other marketing initiatives.
Work with the SMM to incorporate trending and relevant keywords into social media content.

Keyword Research and Optimization:

Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-converting, long-tail keywords for blog posts, web pages, and social media campaigns.
Provide keyword recommendations to the content creation team.

On-Page and Off-Page Optimization:

Optimize website structure, metadata, and content for search engines.
Develop and execute link-building strategies, including partnerships, guest posts, and outreach campaigns.

Content Collaboration:

Partner with the SMM to ensure blog posts, videos, and social media content are optimized for SEO.
Collaborate with the DMM to improve landing page performance and content marketing strategies.

Analytics and Reporting:

Track and analyze website traffic, keyword rankings, and user behavior using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.

Provide weekly and monthly SEO performance reports to the DMM and recommend data-driven improvements.

Technical SEO:

Conduct technical audits of the website and resolve issues such as crawl errors, broken links, or slow load times.
Stay updated on the latest Google algorithm changes and adjust strategies accordingly.

Social Media and Branding Alignment:

Work with the SMM to improve social media page SEO and engagement.
Ensure consistent branding and keyword usage across all digital platforms.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, preferably in the real estate or mortgage industry.
Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, and other SEO tools.
Familiarity with WordPress, IDX plugins, and website management tools.
Experience optimizing YouTube channels and videos for SEO is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with DMM, SMM, and other teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
