JOB OVERVIEW

Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Digital Marketing Assistant (Part Time) to provide administrative support to our email marketing team. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth execution of email marketing campaigns by handling various tasks that enable our experienced email marketer to focus on strategic initiatives.


Key Tasks:

- Transfer mailer contents from Dropbox Paper to email systems such as Drip and Customer IO, set up emails for sending, and segment recipients.
- Update page titles, descriptions, and images using a custom backend.
- Manage and sequence display banners across 15 sites with precise timing.


Responsibilities:

- Review copies from copywriters and serve as the final guard for emails before dispatch.
- Spot and correct grammar mistakes in email copies.
- Identify issues in email copies and suggest improvements.
- Load and schedule emails in Customer IO and Drip.
- Prepare visually appealing emails using ESP (Drip, Customer IO), primarily through drag-and-drop with minimal HTML.
- Perform email testing for delivery, preview, and spam checks.
- Test emails for actionability, envisioning the receiver's response.
- Create required recipient segments.
- Thoroughly review each email before sending.
- Develop email scheduling plans.
- Conduct A/B tests (subject lines, content, sending times, and calls-to-action) to optimize campaign performance.
- Analyze and update subject lines and preheaders.
- Analyze email marketing statistics.
- Author emails when necessary.
- Create automation workflows.
- Continuously learn new email marketing techniques and implement them under the guidance of our Email Marketing Specialist.


Qualifications:

- 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to spot grammar and content issues quickly.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Drip and Customer IO.
- Basic knowledge of HTML is a plus, but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience in email automation and well-versed in CRM tools.
- Experience in using the following software/tools: Drip, Customer IO, and Slack.
