JOB OVERVIEW
We're seeking a highly skilled Remote Video Editor to join our small and motivated video agency for a long-term career. You’ll be responsible for creating engaging, high-quality video content, including talking head, testimonial, short-form, long-form, documentary-style videos, YouTube content, and educational/training materials. If you're passionate about storytelling through video and have an eye for detail, we’d love to work with you.

Our clients are primarily organisations local to us in Geraldton, and across Western Australia and beyond.

Because our local economy is diverse, we work across a wide span of industries and clients from small to very big. This means the work stays interesting and challenging!

Mullermind Creative was established in 2015 by Michael Muller as a solo filmmaker and photographer. Today, we are a small team of content creators, based in Geraldton (Western Australia); working with clients over Western Australia and beyond.

Your Responsibilities
• Edit and produce various video formats (talking head, testimonials, documentaries, short/long-form content, etc.)
• Collaborate with us, your remote creative team to ensure the content aligns with project goals
• Apply creative direction provided via reference videos
• Ensure all content is consistent in quality, brand style, and creative vision
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with efficient time management
• Optimize videos for different platforms and formats (YouTube, social media, websites)
• Incorporate feedback from internal team and clients
• Maintain and organize project files for easy future access and revisions

The Requirements
• Availability for dedicated full-time work with us
• Proficiency in [required] Adobe software suite (i.e.. Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop), and [desired] Davinci Resolve.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing skills across various formats
• Excellent sense of pacing, audio, and visual storytelling
• Ability to manage time and multiple projects efficiently
• Attention to detail and a passion for creativity
• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines
• Strong communication skills (English proficiency required)
• Reliable internet connection and video editing setup
