JOB OVERVIEW

Location: Remote
Employment Type: Part-Time to FULL-TIME

Our primary audience comprises 80% women, split between two key groups:
Pediatricians preparing for board exams (typically aged 26–36).
Board-certified pediatricians maintaining their certification (typically 36+).

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in social media marketing, branding, and storytelling to drive engagement, conversions, and brand growth.

Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Community & Social Media Moderator to manage and grow our online communities and social media presence. This role will focus on platforms like Reddit, ---------- , Student Doctor Network (SDN), and social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, and Twitter (X).

The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator who can foster positive interactions, manage community dynamics, and ensure our platforms remain welcoming and informative. If you’re passionate about building strong communities and have a knack for managing digital conversations, this role is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities
Community Management (Reddit, ---------- , SDN)
Moderate discussions, enforce guidelines, and ensure respectful interactions.
Foster engagement by initiating and contributing to meaningful conversations.
Respond to member inquiries, provide support, and direct them to appropriate resources.
Organize and moderate community events such as AMAs (Ask Me Anything), live chats, or discussion threads.
Identify trends, member needs, and feedback to share with the internal team.

Social Media Moderation (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, ensuring prompt responses.
Engage with followers by liking, commenting, and participating in discussions.
Manage user-generated content by reviewing and moderating posts, tags, and shares.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media and community efforts.
Stay informed on platform-specific trends to keep content and engagement strategies relevant.

General Moderation Duties
Uphold community guidelines and take action on inappropriate or harmful content.
Resolve conflicts and disputes with professionalism and empathy.
Maintain a consistent and friendly brand voice across all platforms.

Analyze community activity and social media engagement to provide insights and recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Proven experience in moderating online communities and/or managing social media accounts.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with platforms like Reddit, ---------- , SDN, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (X), and community management tools.
Communication Skills: Excellent written communication with the ability to adapt tone to different audiences.
Problem-Solving: Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations tactfully.
Time Management: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple platforms and tasks simultaneously.
Healthcare or Education Background (Preferred): Experience working in or engaging with audiences in these fields is a plus.
