Web Developer (Back-end & Front-end)

We are looking for a skilled Web Developer with expertise in WordPress and back-end development to join our team. This role involves working closely with our front-end developer and SEO specialist to enhance our website's functionality and user experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in migrating platforms, particularly from WordPress to Shopify, and will play a key role in redesigning one of our key pages directly in Shopify.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and improve our existing WordPress website, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Work closely with the front-end developer to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, chat, etc.
- Collaborate with the SEO specialist to ensure all back-end changes align with SEO strategies and practices.
- Lead the migration of our current website from WordPress to Shopify, ensuring a seamless transition.
- Assist our graphic designer to develop one of our major pages directly in Shopify, optimizing for performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Write clean, functional, and well-documented code.
- Test and debug websites across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices.


Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Web Developer with a strong background in WordPress and back-end development.
- Familiarity with the Shopify platform and experience in website migration are highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
- Experience with server-side frameworks and content management systems.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and the ability to work closely with SEO specialists to implement changes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficient in writing and speaking English.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Web Developer with a strong background in WordPress and back-end development.
