(CFO) Hospitality Finance Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitality Finance Director to join our Airbnb business as our CFO. This leadership role requires exceptional financial expertise, strong analytical skills, and the confidence to make informed decisions. The ideal candidate will oversee financial operations, provide strategic insights, and ensure the financial health of our business. This position requires flexibility and a commitment to meeting deadlines, with the potential for weekend work.

?? ???? NOTE: We are NOT looking for just an accountant with basic accounting skills (we already have an accountant that does our bookkeeping and taxes). We are looking for someone who can assume the role of a CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER!! ???? ??

????Key Responsibilities????

?? Financial Oversight
- Monitor and manage the company’s financial activities, including income and expense tracking.
- Develop and maintain budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

?? Financial Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Ensure financial data is accurate, timely, and insightful for decision-making.
- Collaborate with our third-party accounting firm to ensure compliance and accuracy.

?? Payroll Management
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment of staff.
- Track labor costs and provide cost-saving recommendations.

?? Cost Tracking & Controls
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to track operational costs.
- Provide oversight of all expenditures, ensuring alignment with budgets and forecasts.

?? Strategic Leadership
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Confidently challenge upper management with informed financial decisions and insights.

?? Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors as needed.

???? Key Requirements ????
- Experience: 5+ years in finance, with experience in hospitality, real estate, or Airbnb management preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA or CFA is a plus.

????Technical Skills: ????
- Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling.
- Advanced Google Sheets skills and familiarity with QuickBooks.
- Experience working with payroll systems and financial management tools.

????? Soft Skills:
- Highly analytical with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Confident communicator with the ability to challenge and advise senior management.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Flexible and committed to meeting deadlines, including occasional weekend work.

- Commitment: 45+ hours weekly with flexibility to meet business needs.
- Growth Potential: We currently manage 95 Airbnb properties in the US and are on track to grow to 300 properties this year.
