Role Overview:

Lensbaby is seeking a passionate and results-driven Social Media Manager to take our online presence to the next level. This role is pivotal in building brand awareness, driving engagement, and increasing online sales through creative, data-informed strategies. The ideal candidate will be an expert storyteller, social strategist, and community builder with a deep understanding of the photography and videography landscape.
Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Creation:
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Lensbaby’s brand voice, values, and sales objectives.
Create and manage a content calendar for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.
Collaborate with the creative team to produce visually compelling and engaging content, including photos, videos, and graphics.

Community Engagement:
Foster an active and supportive online community by engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and sharing user-generated content (UGC).
Build relationships with photographers, videographers, and influencers to amplify the Lensbaby brand.

Campaigns & Promotions:
Plan and execute social media campaigns to support product launches, sales events, and brand initiatives, such as the Lensbaby Demo Sale or Black Friday promotions.
Leverage contests, giveaways, and live events to boost engagement and follower growth.

Analytics & Reporting:
Track and analyze key performance metrics, providing actionable insights to optimize content and campaigns.
Monitor trends and competitors to stay ahead in the evolving social media landscape.

Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader campaigns and email marketing initiatives.
Support newsletter growth efforts by integrating social media with lead-generation strategies.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in the photography or creative industry.
Strong portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns and creative content.
Excellent knowledge of major social platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
Proficiency in content creation tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or native platform tools).
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Passion for photography, videography, or creative arts is a significant plus.
