Job Title: Shopify Expert (Contract-to-Permanent)

About Us:
We are launching a large, feature-rich Shopify store that will cater to both retail and trade customers. With a focus on complex pricing structures, custom discounting options, and seamless integration with Site Flow for order processing, this is an exciting and challenging role. You’ll be working closely with our commerce lead, Site Flow lead, and graphic designer to bring this project to life and ensure it runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
Shopify Store Setup and Management

Build a sophisticated Shopify store to support:
Complex pricing based on customer segments (retail, wholesale, etc.), base materials (cotton, silk, etc.), and additional features (rush orders, finishes).
Robust discounting structures, including promotions with start and end dates.
Configure product pages to accommodate multiple options and dynamic pricing. Create multiple product pages.
Implement advanced features such as expedited shipping, special finishes, and other customizable options.

Site Flow Integration
Collaborate with the Site Flow lead to ensure seamless order export and processing.
Troubleshoot API-related issues to guarantee reliable integration.

Documentation and Operations Manual
Meticulously document all changes and configurations made to the Shopify store.
Create an organized, code-like operations manual, allowing future tea ---------- mbers to trace back what was done and understand how to manage the store.

Ongoing Maintenance and Optimization
Act as the Shopify expert responsible for ensuring the store runs smoothly and meets performance expectations.
Identify and resolve issues promptly while optimizing for user experience and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

Shopify Expertise:
Proven experience setting up and managing complex Shopify stores.
Strong understanding of Shopify Liquid, themes, and app integrations.

Pricing and Discounting Knowledge:
Ability to configure multi-layered pricing and discount structures, including customer segments, material options, promotions, and add-ons.

Integration Skills:
Familiarity with API integrations and experience collaborating with developers to troubleshoot issues.

Documentation Proficiency:
Demonstrated ability to document work thoroughly, with a structured and organized approach akin to code documentation.

Problem-Solving and Communication:
Strong troubleshooting skills, especially in collaborative settings.

Excellent communication skills to work effectively with the commerce lead, Site Flow lead, and graphic designer.
