We operate under the Amazon FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) business model, and we're looking to expand our team with a dedicated Logistics and Inventory Specialist to ensure smooth operations and continued success.
Job Description:
We seek a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics and Inventory Specialist to manage our inventory, handle logistics, and perform daily account checks. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain management, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a strong understanding of the Amazon FBA ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, track inventory movements, and ensure optimal stock levels to meet demand while minimizing excess inventory.
Order Processing: Coordinate with suppliers and oversee the order processing cycle from purchase order creation to product delivery.
Logistics Coordination: Manage shipping schedules, track shipments, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to Amazon fulfillment centers.
Daily Account Checks: Perform daily checks on our Amazon Seller Central account to monitor inventory levels, sales performance, and any potential account issues.
Data Analysis: Analyze sales data and inventory reports to make informed decisions on restocking, inventory allocation, and demand forecasting.
Supplier Relations: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms for purchasing and delivery.
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues related to inventory discrepancies, shipping delays, or account performance.
Compliance: Ensure all inventory and logistics activities comply with Amazon's policies and guidelines.
Requirements:
Proven experience in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain roles, preferably within an e-commerce or Amazon FBA environment.
Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing tasks.
