YouTube Video Editor & Producer - Remote Documentary & Channel Growth

About Us:

We are a board game publishing company preparing to acquire and turn around a struggling business. Our first priority is to launch a YouTube documentary series to share the journey of this turnaround. Additionally, we plan to develop other YouTube channels over time, offering a long-term opportunity for growth.

About the Role: We’re seeking a skilled YouTube Video Editor and Producer to lead the production of our first YouTube documentary series and assist with future channel launches. This role includes managing the entire video creation process, from setup and filming to editing and uploading. You will also play a vital role in optimizing our videos and helping grow our YouTube presence.

The work schedule may vary for the successful candidate. Some weeks may require full-time availability, while other weeks may involve working only on the assigned workload.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, film, edit, and produce high-quality video content for YouTube.
• Set up and operate cameras, microphones, and other equipment to ensure professional results.
• Edit videos into engaging, cohesive episodes and upload them to YouTube.
• Optimize videos with effective metadata, descriptions, titles, and thumbnails.
• Research YouTube trends and keywords to increase reach and engagement.
• Monitor channel performance and suggest strategies for growth.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Proficiency with video editing software and screen recording tools (specific software not required).
• Hands-on experience setting up and operating cameras, microphones, and other production equipment.
• Knowledge of YouTube best practices for uploading, optimization, and audience growth.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Creative storytelling ability and a passion for creating engaging content.
• Preferred: Experience with live streaming and/or live streaming software.

Compensation:

• $6 per hour during the first three months of onboarding.
• $7 per hour for the next nine months.
• After the first year, performance will be reviewed for a potential raise to $8–$9 per hour.

Benefits:

• Health Insurance Reimbursement: Up to $30 per month to cover PhilHealth and Social Security System payments or an equivalent program.
• Paid Time Off (PTO): 15 days annually for the first two years, increasing to 18 days after three years, and 21 days after five years. Accrues beginning Day 1 (Start date). Any unused leaves by the end of the year will be paid out.
• Paid Holidays: Recognition of seven paid holidays, including:
• New Year’s Day (January 1)
• New Year’s Eve (December 31)
•Easter Monday
• Independence Day (July 4)
• Thanksgiving Day (4th Thursday in November)
• Christmas Eve (December 24)
• Christmas Day (December 25)
