Content Marketing & Video Editing Manager

Position Type: Full-Time (or Part-Time, depending on scope)
Location: Remote or Hybrid
Reports To: CEO/Founder

Job Summary
We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Content Marketing & Video Editing Manager to manage our daily content creation process, referred to as the Organic Growth Engine. This individual will oversee every aspect of content creation, from video editing to publishing, ensuring seamless distribution across platforms. If you have a passion for storytelling, technical editing skills, and an eye for design, this is the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities
- Video Editing
Edit daily video recordings to create engaging and polished content for multiple platforms.
Enhance videos with music, captions, transitions, and effects to align with the brand’s tone and style.
Ensure videos meet platform-specific requirements (e.g., aspect ratios for Instagram reels, LinkedIn posts, etc.).
Incorporate creative elements such as text overlays, animations, and graphics as needed.
- Content Creation and Repurposing
Extract transcripts from videos using Loom (or equivalent tool) and clean up for clarity and flow.
Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to transform transcripts into various formats, including:
Blog posts

Email
campaigns
Social media captions (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook)
Newsletters
Tailor content to specific platforms, optimizing for audience engagement and SEO.
- Content Distribution
Schedule and publish content across all relevant platforms:
Instagram (feed, reels, stories)
LinkedIn

Facebook

Blog

Email
marketing tools
Use scheduling tools to ensure consistent posting and engagement.
- Process Management and Optimization
Maintain and refine SOPs for the Organic Growth Engine to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Manage a content calendar, aligning daily content with overall brand strategy and goals.
Continuously optimize workflows for video editing, content creation, and distribution.
- Performance Tracking and Improvement
Analyze content performance metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, conversion) and recommend improvements.
Stay up-to-date with platform trends and incorporate best practices into the content strategy.
- Collaboration
Work directly with the CEO to brainstorm content ideas and ensure alignment with the brand’s mission.
Serve as the point of contact for other team members involved in content creation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience:
2+ years in content marketing, video editing, or social media management.
Proven experience in video editing (portfolio required).
- Technical Skills:
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent).
Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT or willingness to learn quickly.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and scheduling tools.
- Creative Skills:
Strong storytelling and content repurposing abilities.
Attention to detail in both video editing and written content creation.
- Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with personal brands or entrepreneurs.
Graphic design skills are a plus.
Passion for personal development or storytelling.
Knowledge of trending social media strategies and platform-specific video formats.
