Expert in Book Design

I am seeking a talented and detail-oriented book designer to bring my manuscript, Magnetic Scripts, to life. This book is aimed at empowering women to communicate with men from an aligned, feminine perspective to build stronger and more fulfilling relationships. The content is conversational, relatable, and warm, and I want the design to reflect this energy while maintaining a polished, professional appearance.

Scope of Work:

Interior Design: Create a clean, visually appealing layout for the book’s content, including:
Consistent formatting for headings, scripts, and text flow.
Thoughtful typography that enhances readability.
Proper placement of quotes, sections, and scenarios to ensure ease of navigation.
Cover Design: create an eye-catching book cover that aligns with the tone and audience of Magnetic Scripts
Formatting: Prepare the book for both print (softcover) and digital (eBook) formats, ensuring it meets publishing standards for platforms like Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP).
Proofing for Design Consistency: Ensure the layout is free from visual errors, spacing issues, and formatting inconsistencies.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in book design, including print and eBook formats.
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe InDesign or comparable software.
Familiarity with publishing platforms like KDP and their formatting requirements.
Strong understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency throughout the book.
Preferred Skills (but not required):

Experience designing books in the self-help, coaching, or relationship niche.
Ability to provide creative input on the cover design or collaborate with a separate cover designer.
