Senior Test Automation/QA Engineer

Who are we looking for?
You! No seriously, if you think you have some or all of the below skills or experience we'd really love to hear from you:
• Experience providing quality assistance for eco-systems of applications built in a variety of languages Ruby/Java/Node
• Endlessly passionate about automation (of all the things!)
• Experience using a range of automation tooling (Capybara, Selenium, JMeter, Rspec)
• A strong understanding of how and when to write tests (and when not to) and what strategies can be employed to manage test data
• Experience with Continuous Integration, TDD, PACT, Agile, Lean and other engineering & delivery practices
• An understanding of how to test RESTful & SOAP APIs
• Desirable would be some knowledge of breaking down monolithic systems and integrating new applications with old.
• A good cross-section of development skills & tooling: git workflows, databases & caching (MySQL/redis), AWS
• You long to work in an environment which allows you to showcase your devotion to Continuous Delivery/Deployment and all the tools & practices needed to achieve this! (ok we may have over-cooked things now..)
We're less concerned about 'seniority' through years of experience and much more interested your actual accomplishments, your high levels of motivation, your sense of ambition and desire to innovate and your collaborative and team-focused attitude. We'd love to hear about some of the other projects where you've displayed these traits and more. If you have examples of your work online, presentations you've done at conferences or meetups or open-source projects you've contributed towards even better!
