Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Type: Remote

Reports to: Director of Logistics
SUMMARY:
GreenTree Freight, sister company of Creative Packaging, is a dynamic and growing freight transportation company committed to delivering reliable and efficient logistics solutions. The Logistics Coordinator will coordinate the movement of freight, ensuring timely deliveries to warehouses and freezers, and maintaining up-to-date data on company platforms.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review and respond to
• Receive LAP (Load Appointment Plan) releases and update the corresponding spreadsheet tab.
• Track and adapt to constant schedule changes from the production team.
• Communicate updates promptly to stakeholders.
• Handle code requests from the sales team for potential new customers.
• Maintain clear communication with drivers to ensure they understand their schedules.
• Notify drivers promptly of any schedule changes.
• Communicate with freezer partners to coordinate storage and deliveries.
• Analyze delivery routes to ensure efficiency and compliance with driver hour regulations.
• Accurately enter and maintain logistics data in the Alvis system.
• Submit requests for quotes through Emerge to support pricing and logistics planning.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work remotely with little to no supervision.
• Logistics experience in America (Preferred)
• Ability to multitask and effectively manage time.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Two to three years of office related experience preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform required functions of the job.
• Ability to work independently and as a team to meet goals, objectives, and deadlines.
