You will play a key role in editing photos and videos for our travel blogs, social media, and YouTube vlogs, ensuring they align with our brand’s aesthetic and storytelling.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Photo/Video Editor with a keen eye for detail and a natural understanding of visual storytelling. This role requires someone who can work independently, communicate effectively, and provide high-quality, on-brand content that requires minimal revisions. The ideal candidate should be proficient in both photo and video editing and have a strong understanding of editing for both social media and long-form content (YouTube vlogs).

You will work closely with our team, ensuring timely edits for blog posts, travel vlogs, and social media content. You’ll need to be proactive in suggesting improvements, editing according to specific guidelines, and maintaining consistency with our brand’s style.

Responsibilities:

Photo Editing:

Edit high-quality images to be used across blogs, social media, and marketing materials.
Ensure photos reflect the desired aesthetic (adjust lighting, enhance colors like skies and water, and fix minor imperfections).
Keep photos clean and natural-looking, avoiding over-editing.
Maintain consistency with our existing photo editing style and vision.
Ensure that photos are delivered in the correct format and within the set deadlines.
Video Editing:

Edit travel vlogs for our YouTube channel, including cutting clips, adding transitions, music, and text where needed.
Understand the flow of the vlog and create a compelling storyline from raw footage.
Select the best clips that align with our brand, ensuring that the final video is both engaging and polished.
Apply basic sound and color corrections to improve the video quality.
Provide creative input to enhance the videos and ensure they are optimized for YouTube, maintaining consistency with our visual style.
Implement any requested changes quickly and efficiently, without compromising quality.
Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in both photo and video editing (portfolio required).
Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or similar editing software.
Excellent attention to detail and a good eye for design, color, and composition.
Strong communication skills and the ability to take feedback and direction.
Able to work independently and manage your own time effectively to meet deadlines.
Experience with YouTube video editing and knowledge of creating engaging, polished content is a plus.
Basic understanding of storytelling and pacing for video editing.
Familiarity with Payoneer for payments.
