Job Opportunity: Video Editor for Ludus Wellness

Ludus Wellness ( ---------- ) is a fast-growing Canadian fitness coaching company helping busy professionals look good, feel good, and perform better. With 70% year-over-year growth in 2024, we’re expanding our team and looking for a skilled Video Editor who can also help us establish and grow our social media presence.

This is a part-time remote role with the potential to grow into a long-term, full time position as we scale.

Your Role:

Video Editing (Primary):

- Create engaging long-form YouTube videos blending talking head and workout clips, inspired by the styles of Sam Sulek and Nick Bare.
- Add text overlays, sound effects, visuals, and ensure videos are polished and on-brand.

Short-Form Content Creation:

-Repurpose long-form content into short-form videos (0-90 seconds) for TikTok, IG Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
-Edit using trending audios, captions, and voiceovers while maintaining our brand style.

Social Media Setup & Management (Secondary):

-Set up and manage Ludus Wellness's Instagram and LinkedIn pages, creating a distinct brand identity separate from the founder’s personal account.
-Schedule and post content using Metricool, ensuring consistency and engagement.

Content Repurposing:
-Organize and repurpose existing content, including creating carousels, blog summaries, and community-focused posts celebrating client wins.

What We’re Looking For:

-Proven Video Editing Skills: Experience with long-form and short-form video editing (any software).
-Advanced English Skills: Strong written and spoken communication.
-Familiarity with Social Media Trends: TikTok, IG Reels, and YouTube Shorts expertise.
-Canva Experience: Ability to create simple, visually appealing posts.
-Growth Mindset: Open to feedback and eager to improve.
-Hospitality Flair (Bonus): A genuine love for celebrating people and building community.
-Personal Connection (Bonus): Experience with or understanding of chronic health challenges like diabetes or obesity, or a desire to help others overcome them.
