JOB OVERVIEW

Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and data-driven professional to take on the dual role of Video Editor and Social Media Trend Analyst. The ideal candidate will research emerging trends on social media platforms and use these insights to produce original, engaging video content tailored to our audience and brand goals.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on social media trends (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) relevant to our industry (Greeting Card & Stationery)
- Analyze video / post data such as likes, comments, and engagement to identify key trends and content styles
- Present findings in a clear, actionable format to guide content creation (Google sheet or document) (monthly)
- Use trend insights to produce data-driven, high-quality, short and long form, engaging videos optimized for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok)
- Edit videos using tools (Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro) incorporating motion graphics, text overlays, and sound effects as needed.
- Stay updated on platform algorithms and evolving content formats to maximize engagement.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in video editing and social media trend analysis.
- Strong organization and data analyst skills
- Strong proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms video’s compliance and requirements
- Ability to interpret data and translate insights into creative video content.
- Knowledge of current and emerging social media trends, especially in visual storytelling.
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the greeting card, stationery, or lifestyle industries (wedding, birthdays, baby shower)
- Familiarity with graphic design tools for creating supplementary visuals (e.g., Canva, Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop).
