ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Becomes an expert on the multifamily employment markets for each property location. Understands the duties and roles of each type of position within the company.
• Provides talent acquisition and defines a recruitment process where talented individuals are onboarded to fill open positions and a pool of candidates retained to build a bench in order to fulfill future vacancies.
• Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
• Organizes and coordinates training needs for an associates first 30-days and assist with new hire orientations.
• Establishes accurate record keeping practices related to employment files and confidential employee information.
• Displays excellent internal and external customer service by assisting employees and other team members in a courteous and efficient manner; playing a vital role in ensuring overall employee satisfaction and retention.
• Uses discretion and maintains confidentiality of co-workers, employees, prospective employees, management, owners, past and current residents, and vendors.
• Adheres to established regulations related to the Fair Housing Act.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITIES
• Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish/English)
• Word/Excel/General computer skills are required
• Paycor ATS experience preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends if required to coordinate interviews
• Ability to resolve concerns while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to write and communicate professionally
• Ability to apply sound decision-making
• Ability to demonstrate teamwork by assisting co-workers
• Ability to communicate professionally and adapt interpersonal skills to a variety of audiences
