JOB OVERVIEW

At PurpleCow Digital Marketing, we help businesses be remarkable and stand out from the crowd! We help passionate business owners with results-driven websites create sales and leads to grow their businesses.

PurpleCow Digital Marketing is looking for a motivated Virtual Meta Ads and Google Ads Specialist that is up for becoming part of the team for long term growth.

This position is 10 - 20 hours/week. Monday – Friday. 2 - 4 hours per day. Actual hours worked can be flexible but need to be worked during the hours of 7am - 5pm Australia Eastern Standard Time.

Reports to: Digital Strategist

Monthly tasks include:

Meta Ads:
• Setup and manage Facebook & Instagram ad campaigns across multiple client accounts
• Conduct audience research and create detailed targeting strategies
• Design and implement full-funnel advertising campaigns
• Create and optimize ad sets and creative variations
• Monitor and optimize campaign performance
• Setup and manage Meta Pixel implementation
• Create and manage custom audiences and lookalike audiences
• Setup conversion tracking and catalog management
• Implement A/B testing strategies

Google Ads:
• Setup new Google ad accounts, keyword research, choose keywords, write headlines and descriptions
• Create and optimize Search, Display, and Video campaigns
• Implement audience targeting and remarketing strategies
• Monitor and optimize campaign performance
• Create new ad sets for events or client priorities
• Monthly review and optimization of ad performance

General Paid Media:
• Help project managers answer paid media questions from clients
• Setup, customize and send comprehensive paid media reports
• Setup conversion tracking across all platforms
• Manage monthly ad budgets and provide ROI analysis
• Stay current with platform updates and new features
• Provide strategic recommendations for campaign improvement
- Reporting progress of ads
- Attend client meetings

Qualities we are looking for:
• English fluency
• At least 5+ years experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads
• Meta Blueprint and Google Ads certifications
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
• Experience with A/B testing and conversion optimization
• A free thinker, willing to look for answers
• Confidence in strategy, execution and details
• A team player who is happy working in a small team of 5-10 people
• Strong communication skills
• Responsive: Quick with email and chat communication

Preferred expert knowledge of:
• Meta Business Suite
• Meta Ads Manager
• Google Ads
• Google Analytics
• Google Tag Manager
• Google Search Console
• Data Studio/Looker Studio
• Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis
• Conversion tracking tools
• WordPress
• Popular CRM platforms

We have a strong design team that will be able to assist with design assets for ads.
