Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer with expertise in React, Remix, and TypeScript to design and build exceptional user interfaces for our Hydrogen (Shopify) & Ruby on Rails applications. In this role, you will work closely with the backend team to bring dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly UI/UX to life. You will also contribute to improving and optimizing our existing applications, ensuring they remain performant and scalable. We are looking for candidates who are detail-oriented, proactive, and excellent collaborators.


Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain front-end features using React, Remix, and TypeScript, ensuring seamless integration with our Hydrogen (Shopify) & Ruby on Rails applications.
Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to translate wireframes, prototypes, and designs into functional, interactive user experiences.
Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability on the user interface side.
Identify and resolve UI/UX bottlenecks, bugs, and usability issues.
Participate actively in sprint planning, task estimation, and code reviews to ensure high-quality output.
Maintain version control through Git, including frequent code pushes, pull requests, and peer feedback.


Required Qualifications:

BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Strong expertise in React, Remix, and TypeScript, with a solid understanding of front-end development best practices.
Proficient in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, Javascript and responsive design principles.
Experience with Git for version control in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Shopify API or e-commerce platforms.
Familiarity with integrating and working alongside Ruby on Rails applications.
Familiarity with agile development workflows, particularly sprint-based methodologies.
Knowledge of Postgres or similar database systems.
Interest in staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in front-end development and React/Remix/Typescript/Hydrogen ecosystems.
Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks effectively.

Schedule:
9 AM to 5 PM US Central Time Zone
40 hours per week
Monday to Friday
Salary: $2,500 USD per month
