JOB OVERVIEW

Address Research & Validation Specialist

We're seeking a detail-oriented Address Research Specialist for LastStep who can solve complex location puzzles and verify precise address information.

Core Responsibilities:
- Research and validate exact building locations, including unit numbers and building entrances
- Identify and resolve address inconsistencies across different mapping platforms
- Navigate complex situations like:
- Multiple buildings sharing one address
- Buildings with multiple entrances
- Addresses with confusing numbering systems
- Mixed-use buildings with different entry points
- Document specific access points and entrance locations
- Cross-reference various public sources to ensure accuracy

Required Skills & Qualities:
- Strong investigative mindset and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with address verification or similar detailed research
- Ability to spot discrepancies between different mapping sources
- Familiarity with various mapping platforms (Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail and patience for thorough research
- Good documentation skills for recording location specifics
- Strong English communication skills

Ideal Experience:
- Background in delivery services, real estate, or mapping
- Understanding of different address formats and systems
- Previous work involving location verification or geocoding

Work Details:
- Part-time/Full-time (flexible)
- Work from home
