SG Electric, a leading electrical contractor specializing in commercial new builds and renovations, is seeking a Junior Electrical Estimator to join our team that will directly report to the Head Estimator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to grow their career in electrical estimating.

Key Responsibilities:
• Source new project tenders through procurement portals and existing client relations.
• Review electrical specifications and drawings to understand project requirements.
• Prepare detailed electrical takeoffs, including material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Gather competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Develop accurate cost breakdowns for tender submissions.
• Assist in bid review meetings and finalizing submissions.
• Manage change orders and site instructions.
• Communicate with clients, engineers, and subcontractors on scope and budget.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year of electrical estimating experience in commercial and residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (preferred).
• Proficiency with estimating software such as Patabid Quantify, Accubid, etc.
• Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, Adobe PDF, etc.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in project coordination, purchasing, and procurement is a plus.
