We are an educational organisation offering educational services to schools. Our podcast, Edu Leaders Speak, is designed to inspire and empower educational leaders globally. We are seeking a Podcast Growth and Performance Specialist to elevate our podcast’s reach, impact, and engagement through strategic marketing, repurposing content, and audience building.
Responsibilities
Content Strategy and Planning:
Analyze current podcast performance and identify areas for growth.
Develop a content strategy to attract, engage, and retain listeners.
Plan podcast topics and guest collaborations that align with our mission.
Marketing and Promotion:
Create and execute campaigns to grow podcast downloads, subscribers, and ratings.
Optimize podcast metadata (titles, descriptions, tags) for searchability and relevance.
Leverage social media to share clips and promote new episodes.
Content Repurposing:
Edit and repurpose podcast episodes into short, engaging clips for social media (e.g., YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn).
Create audiograms, quote graphics, and other multimedia assets.
Performance Analysis:
Track podcast analytics (downloads, listener demographics, engagement).
Provide insights and recommendations to improve performance and listener retention.
Audience Engagement:
Build and manage an
Engage with listeners through comments, reviews, and community platforms.
Requirements
Proven experience managing and growing podcasts or similar digital content channels.
Proficiency in audio editing software and video editing tools
Strong understanding of podcast platforms (e.g., Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts).
Expertise in social media marketing and content repurposing.
Familiarity with analytics tools to track performance (e.g., Chartable, Podtrac).
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in the education sector or with mission-driven podcasts.
Knowledge of SEO and growth strategies for podcasts.
Creative mindset for storytelling and content curation.
