3D Software Engineer – C++/C#/Windows environment
Remote – Full Time

Schedule: After initial training period, your schedule will mostly be flexible. The first month or two would require availability during the following US time frames - 6 AM - 8AM MST, and/or in the evening, around 9 PM - 11 PM MST.

Role Description:

Summary:
Primary responsibilities of the 3D Software Engineer include planning and designing new 3D systems and interfaces, as well as the implementation of those systems. Experience debugging and tracing program code is necessary, as maintaining and updating existing 3D systems is also required. The role requires working closely with other engineers to design well-integrated systems. The role also requires interaction with QA staff for maintaining existing functionality.

Requirements:
* B.S. or greater in Computer Science or equivalent (Game Development) degree.
* 2+ years of professional experience in Game development on a Windows platform.
* Unreal Engine 3 and 4 experience. Bonus for Gamebryo experience.
* Strong skills in C++, C# also (not as critical) with lots of debugging experience.
* Self-motivated, with strong time management skills and a proven ability to accurately assess time requirements and the complexity of assigned systems.
* Bonus for experience with Lync and/or Skype for Business.
* Strong linear algebra and 3D math skills.
* Understanding of graphics pipeline and 3D rendering concepts.
* 2+ years of experience developing with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or later, Win32 Upgrade to see actual info Framework.
* Have a good understanding of the Windows DLL infrastructure.
* Ability to write clear, maintainable and portable code.
* Have the ability to collaborate as a member of a team and work toward team goals.

Responsibilities:
* Maintain and improve existing codebase.
* Design and implement new codebase with focus on the 3D interface and Unreal game engine.
* Work with an existing game engine to implement business-driven functional goals for the product.
* Work with Engineers and Artists to develop compelling and fully-fledged solutions.

Candidate Requirements:
* Stable internet connectivity with ability to make VoIP calls. Quiet area to work - Tricycles, roosters, and dogs should not be heard by whomever you're calling.
* Must have a willingness to learn and lead others.
* Great written and spoken English.
