Job Title: Bookkeeper

About Us:
We are a reputable retirement home in Woodbridge, Ontario, dedicated to providing high-quality care and a welcoming environment for our residents. We are expanding and currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Process accounts payable and receivable, including payroll and resident billing.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
Provide support in financial decision-making and expense management.
Maintain organized financial files and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
Proficiency in Quickbooks
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Previous experience in a healthcare or retirement home setting is an asset.
