What You’ll Do
As our Logistics Assistant, you’ll help keep our operations running optimally. We’re discussing coordinating shipments, tracking arrivals and departures, and ensuring carriers, customers, and teammates stay in sync.
Update receiving and delivery timelines for both import and domestic shipments
Confirm, route, and schedule outbound deliveries.
Track carrier pickups and deliveries—you’ll jump in to get it sorted when something's off.
Keep a close eye on sales programs that impact our purchasing decisions
Manage and refresh data on suppliers and SKUs, ensuring our inventory system is always current, including any new suppliers, and keeping current information accurate.
Handle calculations for customs, duties, and domestic shipping costs
Collaborate with third-party carriers to secure the best rates and service
Track inbound shipments per case cost and constantly look for improvements
Engage in friendly, solution-focused conversations with suppliers to keep relationships strong

The Minimum Needed:
High School Diploma required, with less than 2 years of logistics experience needed—if you’ve got the right drive and attitude, we’ll help you learn the ropes
An exceptional customer service approach: you’ll treat others how you want to be treated
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is the norm
A willingness to learn: show us your “Can Do” attitude, and we’ll show you the rest
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
An Ideal Candidate:
An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field
Prior experience working with inventory management or ERP systems
Background in the wine, spirits, or broader beverage industry
Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs procedures
Additional training or coursework in supply chain management or logistics coordination
Experience with cost analysis, budgeting, or vendor negotiation.
