Web Scraper Developer for Custom Data Extraction

We are seeking an experienced freelance web scraper developer to create a custom scraping tool for extracting data from a specific online platform. The tool will efficiently gather key information from listings and deliver clean, organized data into a structured format (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, or CSV).

This is a short-term, project-based position with the potential for ongoing collaboration on future projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and test a web scraping tool tailored to our platform of interest (details will be shared during onboarding).
- Ensure the scraper efficiently extracts the required data fields (we will provide specific details).
- Implement error handling, data validation, and logging to ensure high-quality results.
- Provide guidance on running and maintaining the scraper for future use.
- Deliver clean, organized data in the agreed-upon format.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in web scraping and automation (e.g., with Python, Selenium, BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, or similar technologies).
- Familiarity with handling dynamic content, anti-bot measures, and site-specific challenges.
- Ability to create user-friendly tools or scripts with clear instructions for non-technical users.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate and comprehensive data extraction.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to deliver within agreed timelines.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience creating scrapers for marketplaces or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of web protocols, cookies, and anti-bot detection techniques.
- Ability to integrate scraped data directly into tools like Google Sheets, Airtable, or databases.
