Subtitles Transcriber

Project Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to transcribe subtitles for 121 videos (20-40 minutes each video), totaling approximately 59 hours of content. These videos already display subtitles on the screen, and your task will involve accurately transcribing and formatting the subtitles. You may choose to use AI transcription software to assist with the work, but it is optional.

Responsibilities:
Watch each video and transcribe the on-screen subtitles.
Ensure the subtitles are:
Accurate and complete.
Free of spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors.
Properly formatted for readability.
If using AI transcription software:
Compare AI-generated subtitles with the on-screen text.
Edit and finalize the subtitles for accuracy.
Submit subtitles in the requested format (e.g., plain text, Word document, .srt).

What We Provide:
A $30 reimbursement toward any AI transcription software of your choice (e.g., Otter.ai, Descript, Rev, etc.).

Requirements:
Strong English listening and writing skills.
Attention to detail to ensure transcription accuracy.
Familiarity with transcription tools (optional if using AI).
Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.

Timeline:
The entire project (121 videos, 59 hours) may be completed within 1 month.

Deliverables:
Accurate, finalized subtitles for all 121 videos (totaling 59 hours).
Regular progress updates to ensure deadlines are met.

Wage:
$30 reimbursement for AI transcription software (if chosen).
Additional payment is negotiable based on experience and the rate proposed by the candidate
