We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Manager with video editing skills to help us expand our online presence and share our vision with the world.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Medi Management:
Develop and execute content strategies primarily focused on YouTube and
Create and schedule posts, live streams, and video content on YouTube and
Optimize YouTube videos with compelling titles, descriptions, and thumbnails to increase visibility and engagement.
Manage
Occasionally post engaging and relevant content on Instagram to support the overall strategy.
Monitor engagement and
Respond to comments and messages on all platforms with compassion and understanding, strengthening relationships within the community.
Video Editing:
Edit high-quality videos for sermons, worship sessions, announcements, and events.
Add graphics, animations, captions, and transitions to enhance video content and make it visually engaging.
Ensure all videos reflect the church's values and are tailored to specific social media platforms.
Content Creation:
Collaborate with church leadership to brainstorm ideas for campaigns and online outreach.
Design graphics, promotional materials, and other visuals using tools like Canva or Adobe Suite.
Stay updated on creative trends to produce fresh, relevant, and impactful content.
Performance Analysis:
Provide regular reports on social media performance and insights.
Use analytics to refine strategies and improve engagement with the community.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in a faith-based organization.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar).
Strong knowledge of social media platforms and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Creative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator) is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience working with churches, ministries, or non-profit organizations.
Understanding of faith-based messaging and the ability to convey it authentically.
Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and SEO.
