As part of a small, dynamic team, you will play a key role in helping us scale and streamline our business operations

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Online Business Manager (OBM) to oversee and execute our digital business operations, focusing on marketing strategy, online content, and team management to oversee some daily operations. This is a part time to full time position and would involve job sharing with our other part time manager. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and results-driven professional with a strong background in digital marketing, content creation, and team leadership.

Team Management:

Manage, assist with hiring, training and onboarding a small team of remote professionals (e.g., content writers, graphic designers, marketing assistants).Delegate tasks effectively and provide regular feedback and support. Ensure the team is on track to meet deadlines, goals, and project milestones. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting communication and efficiency.

Business Operations & Project Management:

Coordinate day-to-day business operations, ensuring projects are executed smoothly and on schedule.
Use project management tools (training provided) to track progress, assign tasks, and maintain clear communication within the team. Work closely with content creators to ensure all content aligns with the brand's voice, goals, and audience needs. Oversee the content distribution and promotion plan to ensure maximum reach and engagement.

Provide regular reports on business performance, marketing outcomes, and content KPIs. Marketing Strategy & Execution:

Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to grow brand awareness, drive engagement, and increase conversions. Oversee social media, email marketing, SEO, PPC campaigns, and other online marketing channels.

Analyze key metrics and data to measure marketing campaign success and optimize performance.Manage the marketing calendar, ensuring timely execution of all campaigns. Content Strategy & Creation:Lead content strategy and creation, including blog posts, social media content, email newsletters, and more, manage social media scheduled posts, review and approve social media content for: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Yelp, Linkedin, Yelp, Nextdoor.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience as an Online Business Manager or in a similar role, ideally with 3+ years of experience in digital marketing and team management. Previous experience managing remote teams, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (social media, email marketing, SEO, PPC, content marketing, etc.). Excellent content creation skills with a keen eye for quality and detail. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive marketing decisions based on insights. Excellent time-management, organizational, and multitasking abilities, attention to detail and ability to oversee daily activities via chat, video calls and our project management software. Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.

Preferred: Background in e-commerce or online service-based businesses is a plus.
