Versachalk is a US based company looking for a passionate copywriter who can grow with the company! Our current mission is to provide valuable tools, resource, and information for chalkboard and chalk related topics to inspire and motivate beginner. intermediate, and expert chalk artists.

We need you to make this possible! Your job includes having an eye for grammar, spelling, and Veraschalk's style while taking care to preserve writers’ voices. Experience in online writing is REQUIRED.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY
• Writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy
• Developing and maintaining a clear and consistent brand voice
• Self motivated and well organized
• Brainstorming ideas and concepts for the visual and words with other members of the creative team.
• Work with the copy editor, content manager, and graphic designer to help your content rank high
• Able to post content on our website and social media platforms.

SKILLS REQUIRED
1) Able to create and brainstorm written content for our content marketing calendar. Content must be aligned to Versachalk's brand image.
2) Intermediate to advanced SEO experience. We have a PPC expert who will help you with the keywords; however, you are expected to know and understand how to create content that revolves around SEO.
3) Able to plan content on a content marketing calendar in advance.
4) Able to coordinate with our graphic designer, artist and other chalk artists to get images necessary for the blog/content
5) Able to write optimized product descriptions for our product listings
6) Preferably someone who is interested in either DIY, arts & crafts, etc.

SHIFT
5 hours fixed time. The remaining 3 hours can be at a time of your choice.
