JOB OVERVIEW

The SEO Specialist/Digital Marketing Consultant will play a key role in enhancing KK&S Designs’ online visibility and driving organic traffic. This includes conducting keyword research, optimizing website content, managing paid campaigns, and implementing data-driven strategies to boost search rankings and conversions.

Key Responsibilities:
Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify target search terms and opportunities.
Optimize website content, metadata, images, and structure to improve organic search rankings.
Develop and implement a link-building strategy to increase domain authority.
Perform regular website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues.
Track and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
Content Strategy:
Collaborate with the team to create SEO-optimized blog posts, landing pages, and product descriptions.
Recommend and implement content updates to align with current search trends.
Ensure all content aligns with KK&S Designs’ brand voice and tone.
Digital Marketing Campaigns:
Plan and execute pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and social media.
Develop retargeting and audience segmentation strategies for better ad performance.
Monitor campaign metrics (CTR, CPC, conversions) and adjust strategies to optimize ROI.
Local SEO (for the DMV Area):
Optimize Google My Business (GMB) listings to enhance local search visibility.
Implement location-specific keywords to attract customers in the DMV area.
Monitor and respond to online reviews to maintain a strong online reputation.
Analytics and Reporting:
Provide monthly reports with insights into traffic, conversions, and key SEO metrics.
Offer actionable recommendations based on performance data to improve results.
Stay updated on SEO and digital marketing trends, algorithms, and best practices.
Experience & Qualifications:
Required Skills:
Proven experience (2+ years) in SEO and digital marketing.
Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO principles.
Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
Experience managing paid campaigns on Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of website platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, or Squarespace).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with local SEO strategies and tools.
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript for technical SEO.
Familiarity with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp or Klaviyo.
Experience in content marketing and social media strategies.
