The primary responsibility of this role is to identify contract opportunities, prepare applications, and ensure timely submission of required documents. The person will work closely with you to pursue contracts with healthcare facilities, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and other potential clients.
Key Job Duties and Responsibilities
Contract Sourcing & Research
Search for new contract opportunities on government, healthcare, and private sector procurement websites (like
Identify Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotes (RFQs), and bidding opportunities that match the company's services.
Track and maintain a pipeline of potential contracts, grants, and partnership opportunities.
Contract Application & Submission
Review contract application requirements and ensure eligibility criteria are met.
Complete applications, submit bids, and prepare proposal documents (with your input).
Manage submission deadlines, ensuring that no opportunity is missed.
Document Preparation & Administrative Tasks
Gather and prepare essential company documents (like financial statements, business licenses, certifications, etc.) required for applications.
Draft letters of intent, capability statements, and supporting documents for proposals.
Communication & Follow-Up
Communicate with procurement officers, grant funders, and contracting agencies for clarification on open opportunities.
Follow up on pending applications and provide status updates.
Database & Record Keeping
Maintain records of submitted applications, deadlines, and follow-up schedules.
Create a system to track all available opportunities and submission timelines.
Compliance & Updates
Stay up-to-date on procurement rules and guidelines for healthcare and supportive living contracts.
Ensure that all documentation and applications comply with government and industry standards.
