JOB OVERVIEW

Our team seeks a highly organized and empathetic Virtual Assistant to support our operations, ensuring our patients and their families receive the best possible care and attention.

Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Schedule appointments, coordinate care plans and maintain updated patient records.
- Communication Management: Respond to emails, manage phone calls, and handle inquiries professionally and empathetically.
- Documentation: Assist in preparing reports, forms, and patient-related documents.
- Team Coordination: Help manage staff schedules and communicate updates to caregivers and nurses.
- Resource Support: Research and compile resources for patients and families, including community programs and grief support materials.
- Data Entry: Ensure accurate data entry into our patient management system.
- Quality Assurance (QA) Charting: Review patient documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with hospice care standards and regulatory requirements. Provide feedback to the team to improve documentation processes.

Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in [state].
Minimum of [2-3] years of clinical nursing experience, with a preference for home health or related fields.
Familiarity with OASIS documentation and home health billing processes.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
Practical communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and other healthcare regulatory requirements.
