Founded in 2018, we are headquartered in Brisbane, Australia but work virtually with most of our team based in the Philippines.

The company is growing with a small team of full-time and part-time contractors working across the Asia-Pacific region, currently all reporting to the Operations Manager, also based in the Philippines whilst our Managing Director is based in Brisbane, Australia. We deliberately hire talent in different regions of the world to keep costs down, create diversity, and build a multi-lingual team.


Role Purpose
The Executive Assistant & Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for providing admin support to our Managing Director as well as managing and growing Reliability Academy's social media presence across our main channels (LinkedIn and YouTube). The position is expected to be split 50/50 between the role of Executive Assistant (EA) and Social Media Manager (SMM).

Please note that we are open to hiring two part-time candidates, one EA and one SMM so don't hesitate to apply if that would be of interest (just please mention it in your application).


Responsibilities:
As Executive Assistant your initial responsibilities will consist of:
- Daily management of work email inbox (using Outlook / Missive App) to achieve and maintain 'Inbox Zero'. This will require you to set up a system of labels, SOPs etc to deal with incoming email.
- Conduct web research as directed by the MD, summarizing your results and findings in a clear and concise manner, whilst always maintain links to information sources.
- Document management, which will include the clean-up of SharePoint files and folders. Creating and issuing controlled documents (SOPs).
- Other ad hoc admin tasks as required.

As Social Media Manager your initial responsibilities will consist of:

Social Media Strategy & Content Management
- Develop and implement a social media content calendar across platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.), aligned with Reliability Academy’s marketing goals.
- Post regular content on the Managing Director’s personal LinkedIn page as well as the company’s LinkedIn page, ensuring consistency in brand voice and messaging.
- Grow and engage the audience on YouTube through educational videos, industry-related content, and problem-solving tutorials.
- Potentially expand social media activities to other channels, identifying where our target audience is most active.
- Monitor trends, best practices, and algorithm changes across all relevant platforms, and make adjustments to the strategy accordingly.

Community Engagement & Growth
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across social platforms in a timely and professional manner.
- Engage with followers and industry partners to build a loyal community and foster meaningful interactions.
- Work with the team to promote and manage webinars, community events, and engagement campaigns such as "Player of the Week" features or industry roundups.

Visual Content Creation
- Create simple, visually appealing social media post images using Canva, following brand guidelines and utilizing pre-existing templates as much as possible (this is not a design related role).
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to ensure social media posts are aligned with the overall content strategy and are optimized for engagement.

Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Track and report key social media metrics, including follower growth, engagement rates, video views, and click-through rates, and suggest data-driven improvements.
- Regularly assess the performance of content, making recommendations for how to better engage our audience and drive conversions.
- Prepare monthly reports summarizing the performance of each platform and outline areas for growth and improvement.

Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with the broader marketing team to ensure social media content is integrated with Reliability Academy’s overall marketing strategy.
- Work closely with the content team to support the creation of multimedia assets such as videos and webinars.
- Support community management efforts by moderating comments, messages, and direct interactions, ensuring a positive and engaged social media presence.


What Success Looks Like
Success in this role will mean growing our social media following and engagement across all channels, with an emphasis on LinkedIn and YouTube. Additionally, success will be measured by:
- Achieve and maintain Inbox Zero for our MD
- Increase in LinkedIn followers and engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares, etc.).
- Growth in YouTube subscribers, watch time, and engagement.
- Expansion of Reliability Academy's social media presence to other relevant platforms, such as Facebook.
- Consistently delivering high-quality, engaging social media content aligned with brand guidelines.
- Successful coordination of community engagement efforts across all channels.

Your Skills
- You have proven experience with email management and implementing and achieving 'Inbox Zero'
- Proven experience in the role of an Executive Assistant within a corporate environment (supporting C-Suite roles) and proven experience as a Social Media Manager managing social media accounts, particularly LinkedIn and YouTube, for a professional services business or similar.
- Basic design skills using Canva or similar tools.
- Experience tracking and analyzing social media metrics and reporting on performance.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with an online community.
- You have excellent skills with Microsoft Office applications and ideally can act as an administrator for Microsoft Office 365.
- You are fluent in English and your written English is clear, concise, and accurate.


What’s on Offer
This is a long-term virtual role allowing you to work from home. You will work during Australian business hours i.e. your workday will fall between 7 am to 7 pm GMT+10 to ensure overlap with the rest of the team. There will be a 3-month probation period.

Base pay between USD 800 and USD 1,000 per month depending on experience and skills, with a 13th-month pay in December, 10 days of paid leave, an annual allowance of USD 1,000 towards Private Health Insurance and a chance to earn a performance bonus up to 3 months of salary (subject to business and personal performance).
