JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an SEO Specialist who will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies to improve the company’s websites search rankings and overall online presence. This role involves technical analysis, keyword research, content optimization, link-building, and performance tracking to ensure that our digital assets align with current SEO best practices.

Full time, and can be daytime PH hours with crossover for meetings

Key Responsibilities:

1. Keyword Research & Strategy:
- Identify high-impact keywords and phrases to target based on market research, competitor analysis, and business objectives.

2. On-Page Optimization:
- Optimize website elements including title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and internal links. Ensure high-quality, keyword-focused content that is both user-friendly and search-engine-friendly.

3. Technical SEO:
- Conduct website audits to identify issues related to site speed, mobile responsiveness, crawl errors, indexing, and schema markup. Collaborate with developers to implement technical fixes.

4. Content Strategy & Creation:
- Work closely with the content team to guide blog posts, landing pages, and other website materials. Advise on content topics, keywords, and formats that improve organic visibility.

5. Link Building:
- Develop and execute link-building strategies to acquire high-quality, relevant inbound links. This includes outreach, partnerships, and the use of authoritative industry directories.

6. Analytics & Reporting:
- Monitor key SEO metrics (rankings, traffic, conversions) using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and third-party SEO platforms.
- Prepare regular reports to track progress and inform future strategies.

7. Stay Current with Industry Trends:
- Keep up-to-date with the latest search engine algorithm changes, SEO best practices, and emerging digital marketing strategies.
- Proactively test new tactics to stay competitive.

Qualifications:
1. Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in SEO and digital marketing.

2. Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs).
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify) and basic HTML/CSS.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

3. Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred:
- Experience with local SEO, international SEO, or ecommerce SEO.
- Basic understanding of PPC and other digital marketing channels.
