React Developer (3+ Years Exp) WFH

About Us
MachShip is an Australian-based company disrupting the freight industry with our cloud-based Freight Management System. Our software team comprises over 20 Australian and Filipino engineers, and we're expanding our frontend team.

The Role
The MachShip frontend team is responsible for building interfaces and features for the MachShip cloud platform.

We are currently looking for React developers to help us build a brand-new UI. As a developer in the frontend team, your job will be to:

- Build modern, responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript
- Develop reusable components and implement complex UI features
- Collaborate with designers to transform mockups into pixel-perfect implementations
- Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility
- Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and design patterns
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
- Work with our backend team to integrate APIs and handle data flow
- Implement and maintain unit tests

Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of professional experience with React and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Strong understanding of React concepts (hooks, context, state management)
- Experience with TypeScript and static typing
- Proficiency with modern frontend tools (Webpack, npm, Git)
- Knowledge of responsive design and CSS-in-JS solutions
- Familiarity with testing frameworks
- Experience with RESTful APIs and modern HTTP clients
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English
