Big Picture Responsibilities: as the Placement Coordinator you will be
(1) Placing our candidates into the best-fit teaching jobs (closing business)
(2) Instructing teachers on the process
(3) Keeping schools and customers updated and scheduling their interviews
(4) Documenting your notes and status of candidates/schools in our CRM systems
(5) Scheduling your weekly availability and Checking in with our Admissions Team to be informed

The Low Down:
In the world of Adventure Teaching, a Day in a Placement Coordinator’s shoes includes being the first point of contact for the schools that we work with and engaging potential teachers that will be a match for open jobs. This includes:
Periodic review of school requirements- work with them to make sure we’re on target with the candidates they are looking for
Keeping the funnel full- continuous outreach and communication to schools to make sure we are getting every opportunity we can
Working with Candidates (future teachers) to understand and recommend areas that they may be interested in
Helping candidates with the Visa process to make sure they can get overseas on-time
Match Candidates and Schools that may be a fit and scheduling an interview accordingly
Helping candidates through the process
Screening, and gathering information about candidates to make sure they would be a good fit
for Adventure TeachingCoaching and following up with candidates
Collaborate to set recruiting goals

Characteristics that will be helpful as a Placements Coordinator:
Self-driven- you’ll be the master of your own schedule
Motivated with a sense of urgency- working with top-tier candidates to secure their roles and overcoming objections
Flexible- meeting the demands of the schools we partner with, being able to communicate in any platform they need to (i.e. Kakao, email, Skype, Whatsapp) and in a timely manner. Work hours will change depending upon seasonality, evenings and weekends may be required
Great Communicator- at the center of all we do is creating an atmosphere of trust for the schools and candidates that we support
Organized- figure out whatever style works for you, but there are a-lot of moving parts and follow-ups to manage

What kind of experience/skills are we looking for?
• Experience living and teaching abroad or teaching ESL (preferred)
• Fluent in English, (Korean is a BIG plus)
• Strong written, typing and verbal communication skills
• Experience with a CRM (Customer Relationship Manager)
What we expect from one another:
• Be an active team player
• Be able to communicate the AT mission, vision and company story
• Be able to differentiate a ‘good fit’ candidate from a ‘not so good fit’ candidate

Compensation/Benefits:
• Monthly salary (between up to 25 hours of work per week) pay to increase after 3 months and more with responsibilities, potential for full-time for the successful candidate
• Uncapped commission paid on each successful candidate placed: with increase after the first successful 30 candidates placed
• Work remotely, independently, and flexibly
• Paid bi-weekly

Important to note:
Pay is dependent upon qualifications. We are a growing company so there is the possibility that this position will become a management role overseeing other processes and a team.

There will be around 15-25 hours per week, salaried. The schedule will be dependent upon the season. Starting at $400USD per month with increase after 3 months for the successful candidate. $75USD per successful candidate placed, with increased commission after the first 30 successful placements.
